PCPL is partnering with the Powhatan County Historical Society for a series of lectures on the history of Powhatan County.
The first lecture, An Overview of Powhatan County History, will take place on Friday, September 27, 2024 at 11:30am in the library’s large conference room. This lecture will cover the county’s history from it’s founding in 1777 to present day.
The second lecture, Native Americans & Huguenots in Powhatan, will take place on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 11:30am in the library’s large conference room.
Both lectures will be given by local historian and Powhatan County Historical Society President John Rothert.
